Mommy propped me up on the chair and I'm too scared to jump off. She said she was afraid I'd get hurt but I'm sure I wouldn't. I can see the hamburgers better over here though and they smell so good. Mommy made them herself so I know they are delicious. I wish I was human for 10 minutes. I'd sit at the table, eat my hambuger and turn back into a pup. I need a fairy god mother. It worked for Cinderella, I can't see why it wouldn't work for me.

Does this look like a happy face? I'm out on the patio with Mommy while she cooks a BBQ. Rudie is there too behind me. (you can see his blond butt). I try to look cute. I give Mom the eye. I tilt my head a little to the left. A little to the right. I yip so she knows I'm there. I'm so small she could forget me. I can smell the pork chops. I lick my lips. Mmmmmmmm. Maybe?! Mom turns the pork chops over. I hear them sizzle. I try to catch Mom's eye again and I tilt my head. She see's me. She knows I'm here. I might just get a little lick yet!! It might just be this pup's lucky day!!

A Puppy's Life

I woke up this morning, had something to eat, went outside to pee, came in and rested, had something else to eat, went outside and barked at the neighbours, came back in and watched a little tv with Mommy and Daddy, had a drink and a treat because I was being a good girl. I had another nap while Mommy and Daddy were gone and then waited until they finished dinner when I jumped up on the sofa with them and kissed them all over their face. They don't like puppy kisses but too bad! It's my right to puppy kiss whoever I want. We watched a movie and I just got back in from being outside. The neighbours just came home at 4am and I had to bark at them. It's my job as a neighbourhood watch dog to bark at everyone or anything that might pass me.

I'm over my anger at Scotty/Carnie Wilson/AngryFace/Weirdo Puppy Stalker. Mom says I should pity those who pick on other people. I guess thats what I get for being so darn cute. I still think it's sad that a man has to come to my blog and stalk a little puppy like me for hours and read all I've written, save my photographs for his own viewing pleasure, Ewwwwwww. It gives a puppy like me the heaves and that isn't a good thing. Thank heavens I have my Mommy to protect me.

Now if Mommy would only put on her jammies and get under the covers with me, life would be sweet!! This is Mommy's bed and I'm actually sitting on the quilt that my Nanny made. Mommy must be in a good mood because no one is allowed to touch this quilt. Mommy loves it and doesn't even want Daddy to sit on it because she says he'll get it dirty and mess it up.

Mommy loves the quilt because it's purple. She's a little crazy, don't you think? It's okay though, I like crazy!! I'm crazy too!! Woo hoo.. Woof!!

My Adoption Story

I don't remember much about being born. I know my family didn't want me (Can you believe it?)I was dropped off on a deserted road in the middle of winter by myself. It was only by luck I was found a few days later. A family nearby had heard me cry and I was too frightened to come out of hiding. I decided it was in my best interest to see them and that day they brought me to the SPCA.

All the cats and dogs at the SPCA scared me. They were loud and hyper. I was very timid and didn't want to play with anyone.

The second day I was at the shelter a man and woman stopped in. I heard the woman speak about stopping in to see a puppy.(I was a puppy, this was my chance.) She walked towards the tiny black dog who was too loud and annoying even to a puppy like me. I made my move and ran towards the man standing beside the woman and I jumped up on his leg. He looked down at me and smiled. I looked back at him, whimpered just a little and he picked me up. The woman looked over at me and rubbed my belly. The worker told the man and woman that my name was Buster and that I had been found out in the snow crying and needing a home. The woman was upset and started to cry.
I thought it was over for me. No matter how cute I looked they wouldn't bring me to their home. I cryed too.

The woman looked at the man and asked him what did he think about the puppies at the shelter. Which one did he want? I looked up at the man when he looked down at me and my heart skipped a beat when he said, "I think this dog picked me."

The woman held me in her arms and my head found a cozy spot in under her chin. It was like being in puppy heaven. The woman held me while she filled out papers and kissed me as her and the man left.

I was sad because I thought they didn't want me. I didn't know why they left me at the shelter. It was a nice place but I didn't want to be there. I cried myself to sleep that night. I felt so alone. No one would ever want a girl like me. I was too small and my fur was in knots. I was just a mess.

The next evening I stayed in my cage because I wanted to be alone. I didn't want to play with the other animals. I was just too depressed. I thought that no one would ever love me and I had so much love to give. The man and woman who had kissed me last night were my only hope and they had left me. Everyone kept leaving me. It was best for me not to get too attached to anyone.

As I lay there alone I thought I had fallen asleep and was dreaming. I heard the womans voice. She was calling to me. I heard the mans voice as he walked towards me and reached out for me. It was the best dream a puppy in a shelter could ever dream.
It wasn't a dream though, it was reality. They were going to take me home with them. It was the best day ever in this little girls life. I was finally wanted. Someone was going to love me and I was going to love them.

This is me happy and content I have a home of my own and a family who loves me.

This sure beats living at the shelter or worse, living on the street! I live a good puppy life!!!

I love to wear my tiara around the house. Everyone needs to know that I am puppy royalty. You may call me Taco, Princess Taco, Pup Princess or Your Highness. I prefer Pup Princess, because that is indeed what I am.
